4月20日，我國首個500千伏跨境交通聯網工程——中老500千伏聯網工程投產，這也是中老兩國建設規模最年夜、電壓等級最高的跨境電網工程。自此，中老電力互濟才能從5萬千瓦晉陞至150萬千瓦，每VW零件年可輸送清潔電能約30億千瓦時，是原有線路的30倍。
中老500千伏聯網工程于2025年2月26日啟動建設，輸電線路全長177.5公里，此中中國段145公里、老撾段32.5公里，連接中國云南省和老撾烏多姆塞省、瑯南塔省，并在老撾境內新建1座500千伏變電站，2回230千伏線路連接老撾北部主干網，助力打造老撾電網“一張網”。
本年是中老建交65周年暨“中老友愛年”。作為納進中老賓士零件命運配合體行動計劃的嚴重工程項目，中老汽車機油芯500千伏聯網工程是兩國繼中老鐵路后深化務實一起配合、高質量共建“一帶一路”的又一標志性結果。2026年，該項目預計實現光伏跨境輸送電量約11億千瓦時，持續助力中老動力優勢互補。
